Take a friend or partner for a trip to the Wedgwood museum and visitor centre and discover everything there is to know about this famous family business. Founded in 1759 the pottery firm remained in the family for over two hundred years today the museum tells of the history and heritage and you can also witness many rare pieces on display.  Following the tour you will be served a delicious two-course meal  served on Wedgwood china  in the Ivyhouse Restaurant. You will also enjoy some hands-on fun where you will be guided by a Wedgwood master craftsman to create your own piece of pottery. Throw a pot or paint your own design on a mug or plate and then have it fired and sent to your home where you can display it for all to see.
